A year ago professional marketing wasn't *required* to sell a house. The market was hot and homes were selling with multiple offers on the first day listed. Ahh, those were some good times. Generally speaking, the fall and winter months, which are full of holidays, family time, etc, usually mean a slower time in real estate... then you add high-interest rates and the fear of a recession and you have quite a doozy on your hands.

Here are a few tips and tricks to keep up your momentum during the fall and winter seasons!

  • Use this time to refocus your priorities. Look at your marketing plan and make adjustments for the new year!

  • Do a year-to-date review to find out what has worked and what hasn't worked this year. Use this slow season to create a new business plan and goals for the upcoming year.

  • Pivot and realign! Take a step back and take a look over your goals. Are they still what you're aiming towards? Do you want something different this new year? Adjust your goals for the upcoming year and write them down or create a vision board and put them somewhere you can see!

  • Get some "face-to-face" time with your warm leads. Let them know you're not slowing down and be prepared to answer the tough questions most homeowners have in this unpredictable market.

  • Take some classes, read up on the latest trends and get ready for the new year! Set yourself up for success!  Now is a great time to invest in some continuing education classes.
